On 1st December, PRESTATYN'S CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 2011 were switched on this year by Town Mayor, Cllr. Alan Pennington, Consort Gill Glass and newly crowned Miss Prestatyn, Katrina Jayne Young.
DAVID FRANCIS was there to cover the event, which saw a large crowd gather to see the primary schoolchildren sing on the steps of Ty Nant council offices. Sweets were passed around by Carnival Association representatives; and for once, even the weather was kind!
