Just a quick reminder to everyone getting married in the near future that we at David Francis always shoot our Wedding Video in High Definition. This gives you the choice of having either DVD or Blu-ray as your final product.

David Francis is a long-established full time professional business, having produced our first pro wedding video in 1982, and are Videographers of distinction, having won a "Best Wedding Video In Wales" award.

We are currently offering 10% off all prices, which start at a very realistic £350. We can offer you either single or full/partial two camera coverage of your wedding. Every day is different because we adapt to suit your own specific requirements.

Bookings are steadily growing for later in the year and for 2013.

David Francis also undertake full commercial and event video production, including a complete script to screen service.

Last week was very busy preparing for another Wedding Fayre, this time at Prestatyn's Nova Centre. It was a new venture for the management there, though David Francis had exhibited there many years ago, when the Rhyl Journal newspaper used to hold their own organised Wedding Fayres in the Nova Centre's Starlight Suite.

David Francis' Award-winning wedding video production created much interest, especially as we were offering 10% discount off all prices - something we are extending until after Valentine's Day this year.

Here's a sample of an imaginatively crafted end montage sequence, produced using specifically requested music. We hope you enjoy it.

No, it isn't a best-seller in the bookshops; but maybe it should be taking pride of place in your Blu-ray or DVD collection at home.

Perhaps there is no such thing as the PERFECT wedding day video. It's hard to define what "perfect" means to so many couples who might have different expectations and priorities.

But one thing is for certain: just like a carefully crafted storybook, the ideal wedding video will have a beginning, a middle and an end - just like the best feature films you see in the cinema or take home on disc.

You can then choose either BLU-RAY or DVD (or both) for your finished programme, all presented in a luxury presentation case.

Prices start from as little as £350.

Fantastic full day coverage is only £595.

Or choose partial or full two camera coverage. There are lots of permutations and prices - all tailored to your own individual wishes. It IS your wedding day, after all!

We're finding that more and more couples & their families now request Blu-ray for their wedding video. The difference is quite startling when compared to DVD, even when upscaled through your DVD player. The richness of colour, the tonal quality and the soundtrack are all a very noticeable improvement.

Even DVDs made from our high definition masters seem to be better than a DVD produced from standard definition material.

So now DAVID FRANCIS can offer you either immediate Blu-ray, or temporary DVD until you upgrade your system. The choice is yours!

North Wales Wedding Videos

Did you know that we at DAVID FRANCIS PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO are an award-winning wedding video producer, and can offer you our fully professional and creative Wedding Video service anywhere in North Wales. We have been producing high quality digital wedding videos in Denbighshire, Flintshire, Conwy, Gwynedd, Anglesey and the Chester area for almost three decades - and there is no additional surcharge for travel.

Unlike others offering a wedding service, under NO circumstances do we EVER use outside operators to shoot your wedding. Our years of experience of film craft and imaginative interpretation have long since been established. You may rest totally assured that our standards will NEVER be compromised for the sake of being able to book another wedding video on the same day.

We only ever undertake ONE commission per day.

All editing and post-production is undertaken by us, personally, and you should normally expect to receive your final production within seven days - or at least when you return from your honeymoon!

Each video is edited over a period of four days, and can include your own special choice of music if you have specific favourites. We record your DVDs at the highest possible quality - not reduced quality to save discs! You will receive your finished product within a de-luxe presentation case, usually containing three discs.

So, book early, please! Once a certain date is confirmed, that's it - it's gone.

New Year bookings.

David and Joy would like to wish all our clients and everyone who has been kind enough to visit our site, a peaceful Christmas and New Year.

We appreciate your interest in our work. We anticipate that 2011 will be just as busy - especially when it comes to Events and Video Weddings.

Please enquire as soon as you can, because bookings tend to come in a rush, once everyone's thoughts turn away from the New Year celebrations, and the Christmas decorations come down.

MISS PRESTATYN 2010

Just over a week to go until the Miss Prestatyn 2010 Contest. It takes place on Friday 26th November 2010.

I'll be there to photograph the evening, as a co-sponsor of the Title.

The Winner will be treated to one of our full day portfolio shoots on location, which she can use to promote herself in any way, or retain simply as a keepsake.

Total value of prizes is £2,500, which includes a cash prize of £250.

The competition is open to young ladies aged between 18-25, who live within a 10 mile radius of Prestatyn Town Council Offices, provided they can show some connection to the town. You must be unmarried and have no children.

The venue for Miss Prestatyn 2010 is Prestatyn's Nova Centre. Doors open at 7.30pm. The Contest starts at 8.00pm. No admission fee.

Entry fee to the Contest is £5. Closing date for entries is Monday 22nd November 2010. Entry forms are available to download from the Miss Prestatyn website at www.missprestatyn.co.uk
